Verde Juice is a social enterprise, committed to growing local food economy and supporting organic farming. We believe being a green business means more than just recycling. It means zero food waste, a sustainable work environment for employees, and community leadership.
Sustainable Farming
Verde products are not certified organic. However, our juices and shots contain 100% certified organic fruits and vegetables. Whenever possible, Verde buys from local organic farmers, like Susan Higgins at Sungreen Living Foods and the brothers at Silverleaf Farms. When we can’t source it locally, it often comes from our distribution partner, Veritable Vegetable. This amazing B Corp organic food distributor was created to support small to mid-sized farmers and independent retailers.
Zero Waste
We practice zero-waste measures every day. All organic materials such as juice pulp is composted for local farmers and worm ranchers, all materials are recycled, and equipment is all set to low-water use.
Community Involvement
Verde is a brand of New Mexico Fresh Foods, a social enterprise started by impact investors dedicated to growing local food economy. We are proud to count the Santa Fe Community Foundation among our partners. A percentage of profits from the sale of Verde Juice supports the Foundation’s social impact investing programs.
